Approach

I grew up around Ellicott City and Columbia, and I have been photographing weddings since 2014 — more than four hundred of them now. Most of that work happens within an hour of home, in Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC, and the rest of it happens wherever a couple decides to get married.

The photographs I care about are the unplanned ones, and those only turn up when everybody has stopped performing. So I spend the first part of a day talking rather than shooting, I answer questions before you have to ask them twice, and I am fine being the one telling bad jokes if that is what loosens the room. Treat me as a teammate for the day rather than a supplier and you will like the pictures more.

Every package is a flat rate that includes tax, with printing rights and a password-protected gallery of full-size files. Expect roughly 120 to 150 photographs per hour of coverage, previews for social media within a day or two, and the full gallery six to eight weeks after the day.
